ABOUT THE WORK
Rather than merely celebrating negativity or turning to the positive, I bring together cabaret aesthetics and dark humor to foreground the erotic nuances existing in a racialized or, what I often call, fucked life. I use the phrase ‘Fuck My Life’ to emote and think through complex modes of survival staged within the performative and affective.
