ABOUT THE WORKThe title of this work draws from a quote said by Nomi, an ingenue stripper, in the 1995 cult classic film Showgirls. The sculpture is an assemblage of showgirl remnants, accoutrement, and props. Hung on a steel pole with a long hair extension as a tail, the materials draw on camp expressions of sex and sexuality.
